had a perfectly pleasant stay in february. ideal central location close to close to port solent for restaurants and portsmouth and other locations and the main attractions. furthermore, in the new forest. liked the deluxe king room, it was top-notch the time we came in. the breakfast was large for freshly made scrambled eggs or other needs, and the food was outstanding.
The staff - some of them were very unkind.

The marriott had an excellent breakfast selection, and the bar facilities were lovely. The entire hotel team was super helpful and friendly. One highlight was definitely the leisure club, with a well-equipped gym and a relaxing indoor pool. It was a great escape.

Rooms and staff, equipment etc. everything was ok.
The surroundings weren't nice. At night we also had loud operating noises on the 7th floor.

The room was new-fashioned and soundproof with central heating, iron/ironing board and an electronic key card available. The staff were extremely friendly, efficient and helped me with private parking.

Absolutely loved the grilled steaks at the hotel restaurant, proper tasty! The breakfast spread was great too, with plenty to chow down on. Plus, the staff rolled out the red carpet for us.
This hotel would have been a ten if not for a couple of hiccups, like the shower being a bit stiff to adjust and the wait for drinks was longer than a queue at a bus stop on a rainy day.

The breakfast is good and the staff very friendly.
Pool smells very strongly of chlorine. Waited pretty long for a snack.

Solo traveler's decent experience
One evening, Ruth served me dinner, and her professionalism stood out, she handled my order with such care and speed, seemed like I was in good hands.
It wasn't exactly a budget-friendly stay but it was acceptable.

The location was perfect for family outings, close to landmarks like the Spinnaker Tower and Historic Dockyards. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean. The staff was very attentive, and we appreciated the cute snacks each evening.
In my wife's opinion, the parking fee was a bit unexpected. It would be great if there were more family-friendly activities available in the hotel itself.

Everything is okay.
Unfortunately, the hall is very crowded, which is a problem especially on cold days, as there are bars and restaurants here. Prices for WiFi are far too high.
